Board Member Spotlight: Dany Bouchedid
Dany Bouchedid (pronounced “Boosh-deed”) has been known as a visionary for years in the technology field. As the founder and CEO of COLOTRAQ, a global data center and cloud infrastructure sourcing company, Dany catapulted from entrepreneur to industry leader in just a few years.
Prior to the 2016 election Dany followed politics as a concerned citizen, but he never considered himself an activist or “involved”. After what has become known as “11-9”, however, he knew that he had to do something. As a result, he helped to launch Democracy Legacy and also the non-profit Bouchedid Foundation.
A first generation Lebanese-American immigrant, Dany is particularly focused on reducing anti-immigrant rhetoric and updating the policies that keep hardworking people out of this country. Dany is working with Democracy Legacy to change politics by improving how we communicate with each other, helping Americans understand what’s happening with our government and restoring power back to the people.
